Please keep Zachary in your thoughts : FSGS Sucks

Just a quick post asking everyone to send good vibes/thoughts/prayers (whatever you want, just make 'em good) to Zachary today.

Zachary is a little boy who who just had his 2nd kidney transplant on January 18th.  That's right...2nd.  His first was when he was 11 months old.  This little boy has been through SO much...everything was going so well, and the suddenly, his urine output is nearly zilch.  The kidney docs are very concerned, and they are on their way to the ER right as I type this.

Day 3 : FSGS Sucks

Ahaaaaa!  Jillian Michaels....I'm gettin' there.  I worked out again today, and feel a little better with each passing day.  I can do more, and for longer, than the day before, so I'd say that's progress.

You might be wondering why this big burst of energy, all of a sudden.  Well, I think I just got a bit scared.  My cholesterol is THROUGH THE ROOF, even WITH meds, and my doctor asked me how my workout habits had changed.  They hadn't really changed..they had just ceased to exist.

So I'm hoping that by switching up my meds a bit and working out, my HDL will go up and my LDL will go down.  Plus, the added side benefit of losing my muffin top :)

Second verse, same as the first : FSGS Sucks

I didn't even bother trying to workout yesterday.  Too damn sore, and we headed downtown to the Super Bowl village yesterday (which was pretty cool...pics on my other blog). But today, after wincing in pain as Izzy dragged me out of bed, I knew that I had to hop back on the horse and hit it. I did about 45 minutes of REALLY slow am yoga...just to stretch things out and get some blood flowing.  And then Jillian and I had our little torture session.  Yep, it sucked as much as Friday, but I pushed myself a bit more, and I'll do it again tomorrow.  I may not get "ripped in 30" but I WILL be better off than I was when I started.  And I'm going to need lots of energy in the next month to make sure this move goes as smoothly as it can.

Transplant / Living Donor Info for me (edited)

I wish I would've had this post ready because I had so many people reach out to me after the last one that wanted to share my info.  I&#...
