I received a living donor transplant in July at Mayo and I feel better than I have in years. The U of MN was closer for us too (we live in Eagan) but we preferred the attention to details at Mayo. Best of luck to you, you'll be in good hands.
I have been following your blog and am so happy to hear that you are being considered for a transplant. I have FSGS too, with a history of Renal Cell Cancer two years before the FSGS diagnosis in 2009. Kidney disease sucks! Sending good energy your way! I know this is the news you have been waiting to hear! I can't wait to hear you have found some relief...hope it is very soon!
YESSS!!
