Great links! Really sad about the dad that can't get insurance after donating a kidney to his daughter. Amazing that a transplant pays for itself in two years compared to the cost of dialysis.
ReplyDeleteMy brother has been denied life insurance since donating to me. I feel terrible about it. He has a wife and a baby and because of his decision to donate to me, their future could be more difficult (if, god forbid, something happens to him). I can't believe donors would be penalized like this.
