Even in the wilderness : FSGS Sucks

...because I'm never very far away from the fact that I am not normal.

We're on vacation with Joacim's parents. We rented a houseboat near the boundary waters and are really w noting ourselves. But yesterday, I was just thinking that there would be no way to take THIS kind of a vacation while on dialysis.

Guess I'm glad I'm doing it now :)

    I hate the D word - it literally causes me to spaz just to hear the word. I hate that ANY of us have to think about. (While at the same time I acknowledge that it's better than the alternative.

    Is anyone else afraid of someone pulling on the catheter. I'm going to be starting peritoneal "D" word soon.mi have two small kids, scares the crap out of me.
